How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The study of incidence of temporary disability (ITD), as one of the criteria of the health status of workers in industrial enterprises, allows us to establish a relationship between its level and specific production factors, to determine the economic damage to enterprises due to morbidity and to develop preventive measures to predict the risk of developing occupational diseases.Objective. To assess the dynamics of ITD among underground ore miners in order to predict the risk of health problems and optimize work from the perspective of professional risks.Methods. The ITD among underground ore miners was assessed based on the data from the 16-VN reporting form and police registration cards in dynamics for 2019-2023. A total of 2800 medical examination cards were processed during this period. The incidence of year-round persons was analyzed taking into account the profession, age and length of service of workers in accordance with the methodological approaches of N.V. Dogle, A.Ya. Yurkevich, E.L. Notkin.Results. The results of the analysis of ITD among underground ore mining workers indicate an annual increase in cases by 24.1% and days of incapacity by 13.8% in 2023 compared to similar indicators in 2019. It was established that, according to the E.L. Notkin scale, the indicators of the ITD in terms of the number of cases of incapacity for work corresponded to the criterion of “high”, and in terms of days of incapacity for work – to the criterion of “above average”. It was revealed that with increasing age and length of service there is an increase in the indicators for the number of cases from 12.8% to 18.6% and days of incapacity from 2.4% to 3.7%, respectively. The presented data indicate a reliable difference in the studied indicators of the main and auxiliary groups (p<0.01).Conclusions. The results of the analysis of ITD can be used by the medical service of the enterprise to develop and implement preventive measures in the field of health protection of the working population in harmful production conditions.Key words: health, occupational medicine, morbidity, periodic medical examinations, professional risk, incidence of temporary disability.
