How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The paper presents a new technology for processing copper-based microcomposite alloy wire. The proposed technology consists in deforming the wire in a rotating equal-channel step matrix and subsequent drawing. Deformation of copper wire with a diameter of 6.5 mm was carried out in three passes at room temperature up to a diameter of 5.0 mm. This processing resulted in a gradient microstructure with a surface ultrafine layer (grain size ~400 nm) with a gradual increase in grain size towards the center of the wire. The resulting microhardness was 1150 MPa in the surface zone, 770 MPa in the neutral zone, and 685 MPa in the center zone of the wire. Such a symmetrical variation of microhardness observed over the entire cross–section of the bar is a direct confirmation of the presence of a gradient microstructure characteristic of deformed materials. The validity of all results is confirmed by numerous experiments using a set of traditional and modern research methods.
