How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of integrating technical and language skills through IT microblogging on Instagram. It aims to improve summary writing among second-year university students at the pre-intermediate English proficiency level. A total of 120 students participated, divided equally into four control groups and four experimental groups. The research was conducted over a full academic semester, lasting 14 weeks. The experimental groups engaged in structured summary writing tasks using Instagram as a microblogging platform, where they were guided to create concise, coherent posts incorporating both linguistic accuracy and digital presentation skills. In contrast, the control groups followed traditional classroom writing instruction without the integration of social media tools. A strictly quantitative research method was used to measure writing improvement. Pre-tests and post-tests were administered to assess gains in summary writing skills, focusing on coherence, grammar, vocabulary, and organization. The final evaluation was conducted during the end-of-term examination to determine the effectiveness of the intervention. Statistical analysis of the collected data revealed a significant improvement in the writing performance of students in the experimental groups compared to those in the control groups. These findings suggest that incorporating IT microblogging platforms like Instagram can be an effective pedagogical tool for enhancing summary writing skills.
