How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In Kazakhstan, the incidence of COPD remains high, which requires optimization of diagnosis and basic treatment. Timely qualified diagnosis and dynamic patient monitoring are essential to control current of COPD. In real clinical practice, we often encounter a gap between the described diagnosis and the patient's clinical status. Goal:Evaluation of diagnosis of COPD before&after a detailed analysis of the indicators of patients registered in outpatient settings in Astana. Methods: The study included 54 patients diagnosed with COPD in outpatient clinics in Astana. The average age of the patients was 63±5.6. The study did not include individuals with ACO. The patients underwent a routine check-up, and after the doctors entered their diagnoses into medical records, also conducted a survey, examination, and questionnaire on the CAT and mMRC scales on the same day, evaluated the results of a total blood count, CRP, spirometry. Diagnosis was formed in accordance with the republican protocol of the COPD (absence of category E). Data analysed by the Statistica6.0. Results: erj;66/suppl_69/PA5754/TB1 T1 TB1 Diagnosis % category A B C D % Gold II III % Exacerbation before detailed analysis 5.50 77.8 16.7 - 100 - 11.1 after - 61.1 22.2 16.7 87.5 12.5 66.67 (p<0.05) (p>0.05) (p<0.05) Conclusion: A gap revealed between the established diagnoses and the actual clinical conditions: in 83.3% of cases, the COPD category was higher (p<0.05), in 12.5% of cases, the severity was higher (p>0.05), in 55.57% of cases, exacerbation of COPD was more common. An insufficient analysis of all patient data by outpatient doctors requires more attention. It's related to shortage of admission time 20min, time should be increased.
