How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article is dedicated to the study of the ultrasonic cleaning method for vehicle cooling system radiators using transverse exposure to ultrasonic waves. The conducted experiment confirmed the high efficiency of the method based on water cavitation inside the radiator tubes. During the study, key liquid parameters were measured, including density, mass, outflow velocity, and scale content. The results demonstrated that ultrasonic cleaning with transverse exposure effectively removes scale without damaging the radiator structure, thereby improving heat exchange efficiency. An analysis of the dynamic changes in the mass of the removed scale showed that transverse ultrasonic exposure ensures a more uniform energy distribution across the entire radiator surface, increasing the degree of cleaning compared to the longitudinal method. This approach enhances the operational characteristics of the cooling system, extends its service life, and reduces maintenance costs, while also providing an additional environmental benefit by eliminating the need for aggressive chemical reagents
