How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Significance The investigation into the role of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in treating early cervical cancer, both as a primary modality and as an adjuvant for positive surgical margins, is of paramount significance and clinical relevance. Approach This study evaluates the recurrence of SILs and HPV infection in a cohort of patients with early-stage cervical cancer treated by PDT. Results The better result of PDT was achieved in the group of patients with partial response after PDT (more than 90%) for both study groups. This demonstrates that PDT based on chlorin e6 is highly effective to remove SILs or residual tumors. Conclusions This research holds the promise of transforming management strategies, offering a less invasive, fertility-sparing, and highly effective treatment option that could profoundly improve outcomes and quality of life for countless women worldwide.
