How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Due to the high rate of development of applications using inexpensive and energy-efficient devices, it became necessary to ensure the security of transmitted information in microcontroller-type devices using low-resource algorithms. The article investigates the implementation of the «PRESENT» algorithm, which today has high cryptographic resistance and has characteristics that make it suitable for programming devices with low computing power. The main operations of the block cipher, the structure of the PRESENT algorithm, the principle of its operation are considered. The implementation of the algorithm is carried out in the Python 3.9 programming language. The PRESENT algorithm was tested on several microcontrollers with different bit depths of processors. The study was conducted to identify the necessary conditions for the use of the algorithm in low-resource devices
