How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article presents the results of research on the creation of digital twins of avalanche-prone slopes in the East Kazakhstan region, conducted within the framework of the program-targeted funding initiative BR21882022, «Research of avalanche activity in the East Kazakhstan region for development of monitoring systems and scientific substantiation of their placement» for the period 2023–2025. A methodology has been developed for creating digital twins of avalanche-prone slopes as part of an avalanche hazard forecasting system for mountainous regions. These digital twins include: a schematic map based on satellite imagery; an elevation map using color differentiation; 3D terrain models; and detailed avalanche drainage data obtained from UAVs and LiDAR (dense point clouds, a digital elevation model in TIFF format, orthophotos, and 3D models of avalanche drainage areas). Digital twins have been created for ten avalanche-prone slopes in the East Kazakhstan region.
