How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Sludge after purification of converter gases at metallurgical enterprises make up a significant part of metalcontaining industrial waste with a high concentration of iron. There is a problem of their utilization and use as raw materials for metallurgy. The purpose of this work is to study the processes of recovery of briquetted products based on a mixture of converter slurries of gas purification and converter slags. Experimental studies on the preparation of sludge briquettes from a mixture of converter sludge and slag, their metallization under laboratory conditions, have established the optimal composition of components of a mixture of converter slag and gas purification sludge by the percentage of iron, which is appropriate for use as raw materials in steel smelting. As a result of the implementation of the technology, ordinary grades of steel can be obtained without carburizing the metal, bypassing the production stages of cast iron and high-carbon alloys. The proposed technology for processing slag and sludge from oxygen converter production will reduce the volume of accumulated production waste
