Abstract
The education system faces a serious mission - to prepare the younger generation for life in the conditions of globalization, and therefore - in a multicultural world. It is logical that in multi-ethnic spaces the most acceptable and promising model is multi-ethnic education, which is an integral part of modern education with the exception of individual education systems. The main goal in such an education model is the formation and development of communicative and ethnopedagogical competence of students. Multicultural education of future teachers is carried out within the framework of the cultural and educational life of the region using the pedagogical potential of the surrounding socio-cultural environment in the educational process. The implementation of polyethnic education requires the functioning of a polyethnic environment not only within society but also within the educational space. It is crucial to define the content and essence of the polyethnic educational environment. Its influence on learners extends beyond personal qualities and behavior to include external factors such as the surrounding environment, social relationships, and activities. All these factors must be considered to work effectively with students. A number of studies have proven that the object of a teacher’s influence is not the student, not his qualities or behavior, but the conditions in which he lives. Keywords: multiethnic environment, educational environment of the university, communicative and ethnopedagogical competence, future teachers, multiethnic society, multicultural society, personality, ethnicity.
