How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

n Kazakhstan, cases of anthrax among humans and animals are registered quite often. The main risk factor for epizootologicalproblems with anthrax are numerous anthrax burial grounds located in all regions of the republic, with a significant part of them located in populated areas, pastures, and cattle routes. The greatest threat to environmental safety is posed by anthrax burial grounds, i.e. places for long-term burial of corpses of farm and domestic animals that died or were slaughtered during an epizootic in order to prevent its spread.Taking into account the ongoing processes associated with the modernization of the country's economy, the intensification of economic activity, including construction, development of new lands and the introduction of old, "abandoned" territories into circulation, the development of agriculture and animal husbandry, determining the danger of anthrax burials is a pressing issue for veterinary science and practice. For an objective assessment of the biological risks of soil anthrax foci, a comprehensive analysis of the criteria for determining their epizootic and epidemic danger is necessary. In the course of the work, 50the main social risk factors for the danger of anthrax burial were proposed, which include: analysis of the epizootic and epidemic situation in the area, location of the cattle burial ground, age of the burial; method of disposal of the corpse (burial in the soil without burning or burial of ash residue); burial in a Beccari pit; frequency and density of burial, size and degree of compliance of the equipment of the outbreak with veterinary and sanitary rules. The definition, analysis of criteria and their summation in points will allow us to assess the potential danger and biological risk of soil anthrax foci for the environment and public health
