How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article provides an analysis of the systems of anti-epizootic measures for brucellosis in animals. It presents the results of monitoring, epizootological, and serological studies of brucellosis in farm animals and humans across various districts of the Kostanay region, characterized by differing levels of morbidity. A comparative analysis of the epizootic situation regarding brucellosis in animals was conducted over a 12 month period in 2024 and the corresponding period in 2023 in the Kostanay region. Brucellosis infection was recorded to varying degrees among cattle in 17 districts of the Kostanay region in 2024. The highest incidence of brucellosis in cattle was noted in the following 4 districts of the region: Uzunkol – 1.5%, Auliekol – 1.2%, Naurzum – 1%, in Kamysty – 1%. The highest incidence of brucellosis in small cattle was recorded in the Auliekol district, reaching 1.4%, which is 1.0% higher compared to the same period in 2023. Regional studies of the epizootic process of infectious and parasitic diseases are of significant importance for the effective prevention of infections. Such studies enable the examination of disease patterns within specific territories under particular natural, geographical, and socio-economic conditions. The resulting forecasts provide a reliable foundation for managing the epizootic process through the development and implementation of effective anti-epizootic measures. The current epizootic brucellosis situation warrants thorough and comprehensive analysis. Improving the quality of information on outbreaks of the disease, developing unified methods of systematization, generalization and study will reveal the external side of the epizootic process of brucellosis, its form, patterns, trends and features of manifestation, which will allow monitoring risk factors for brucellosis infection. Continuous monitoring of critical control points is essential for preventing the onset and spread of infection at an early stage.
