How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Kazakh semi-coarse-wooled fat-tailed sheep breed belongs to the meat-greasy-wool production line and consists of 3 zonal types: kargaly, aktobe, baiys. In this work, a genomic analysis of all subpopulations ("Khasiev", "Kara-Adyr", "Altyn Asel") was performed using SNP genotyping and the main component method – PCA. The constructed PCA diagram revealed intra-breed structuring: sheep subpopulation of Western region forms a separate cluster, which indicates its genetic differentiation, while the gene pool of Southeastern zone shows significant overlap, reflecting the proximity of their genetic profile and practice exchanging breeding materials. The results obtained indicate existence of both isolated and closely related genotypes, which underlines the importance of taking into account intra-breed heterogeneity when conducting breeding work and developing genetic monitoring programs.
