How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In this work, an electronically controllable metasurface is presented that can switch the electromagnetic properties from transmission to reflection in the microwave frequency range. The unit cell structure has been analyzed using frequency domain (FD) and time domain (TD) simulations. The singlelayered square-ring unit cell structure is proposed with a defected ground plane which comprises two diodes for reconfiguration. The periodic$2 \times 2$array of the proposed unit cell structure is designed and investigated. When the diodes are in the OFF state, 83 % of the incident signal is transmitted. Whereas, in the ON state, 72 % of the incident signal is reflected. The simulated unit cell structure and adaptive metasurface is realized in this study, indicating the effectiveness of the study in 5 G and beyond communication networks.
