How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The use of the latest technological advances and an interdisciplinary approach to medicine have led to significant progress in the field of healthcare. Telemedicine is an important achievement in the field of healthcare, allowing remote medical care. Purpose. Of the article is to study international experience in the field of telemedicine and the level of its application in Kazakhstan, the specifics of the workflow and barriers to implementation in healthcare. We tried to identify articles that use telemedicine and determine the level and purpose of introducing this new type of medical care. In addition, a repeated search of these databases was conducted to analyze the advantages, disadvantages and implementation of telemedicine in the healthcare system. Methods and materials. The process of selecting research and collecting data included the use of search words such as "medicine", "surgery", "specialties", "telemedicine". Libraries such as PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar were used to search for articles. Results. Using telemedicine services via video conferencing or other virtual technologies saves both the patient and the healthcare provider time, as well as the cost of treatment. In addition, due to its fast and efficient characteristics, it can optimize the workflow in hospitals and clinics. In recent years, it has been shown that this technology improves the quality of medical facilities, allowing the exchange of information in many remote areas. This increases access to low-income areas, making it easier for them to plan and hold meetings. People with limited mobility receive medical reports and necessary prescriptions faster. Telemedicine shortens the round-the-world travel of doctors and patients and changes the life of every patient, ensuring that every patient receives appropriate treatment.
