Abstract
Abstract Measurements of experimental spectra to obtain double-differential cross sections of proton and deuteron emission in the 59Co(d,xp) and (d,xd) reactions at an incident deuteron energy of 14.5 MeV were carried out in an isochronous cyclotron at the Institute of Nuclear Physics in Kazakhstan. Proton and Deuteron spectra were recorded with Si-CsI detector telescopes positioned from 30° to 135° in 15° increments. By integrating these angular distributions, we obtained the corresponding integral cross sections. All data were then compared with predictions from the TALYS 1.9 nuclear reaction code, and the adopted theoretical prescriptions successfully captured the main trends observed in the measurements.
