How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The decorative materials for construction work including lacquer coating are of great demand.Contemporary paint and lacquer coating materials have recently demonstrated a growing tendency to include fine-dispersed mineral fillers and polymeric binders. This combination enables regulation of pigment particle wetting, disaggregation, and stabilization processes due to targeted modification of the surface energy of film-forming agents at interfaces with adjacent phases (e.g., air, steel substrate, and pigment). In this regard, this article considers compatibility of polymer binders and finely dispersed mineral dusts.Selection of components is carried out by determining surface tension parameter, which was determined by method of Ounce, Wendt, Rabel and Kaelble (OWRK), wherein raw materials have close values of polar and dispersion components, due to elimination of the imbalance of intermolecular forces at interface between filler and polymer binder phases. It has been shown that, for fine-dispersed materials (diatomite and lime) in comparison with quartz sand powder (used as a control) determination of the contact angle requires corrective adjustment of the baseline position to align with interface level of the fine-dispersed material.Astringency of water-dispersion and coating compositions was 17.5-21 c according to VZ-4, adhesion to solution substrate-1 point, washability-no more than 2 g/m 2 .Thus, the findings demonstrated complete compatibility of fine-dispersed filler fractions (diatomite and lime) with polymeric binder in formulation of waterbased dispersion paint that complies with established regulatory requirements.
