How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease of systemic and immune nature, affecting about 3% of the world's population and considered one of the most common chronic dermatoses. Psoriasis treatment is a complex therapeutic problem. Since psoriasis is considered a disease that cannot be cured completely, the main goal of its treatment is to achieve stable remission using local, systemic and physiotherapy the choice of which depends on the severity of clinical manifestations. The article discusses the active ingredients of drugs used in various forms of psoriasis, ranging from non-hormonal agents, vitamin D3 analogues to retinoids, glucocorticosteroids, phosphodiesterase 4 inhibitors and biological drugs. High efficiency of genetically engineered biological therapy in severe and resistant course of the disease is noted. A review of pharmacological approaches is conducted taking into account the pathogenetic mechanisms of the disease.
