How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The success of block self-destruction will depend to a large extent on the fragmentation of the ore body during the collapse (Brown 2007). According to Lobshir's methodology (1994, 2000), fragmentation will affect the size of the duckets and the distance between them, the choice of equipment, release control procedures, productivity, penetration of waste rock into the column of ore produced, freezes and the need for secondary crushing. The prediction of fragmentation requires an understanding of the natural fragmentation of the rock mass in the massif, as well as the fragmentation processes occurring during the movement of material along the columns of the ore being produced (Brown 2007). Fragmentation in the array depends on the orientation of the cracks, the distance between them, frequency and consistency. Fragmentation in the massif is blocks of rock formed in ore bodies prior to the initiation of collapse.
