How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

(Brown 2007). when assessing the ability of rocks to self-destruct, the size of the cut is predicted, which is necessary for the initiation and development of self-destruction.The main factors that can affect self-destruction are the geometry and fracture strength, the strength of the rock mass, the shape of the ore body, the size of the section, stresses arising in the back of the section and in the collapse zone (Brown, 2007).In practice, the ability to self-destruct can be assessed by several methods: experimental (based on work experience), using diagrams of empirical stability/rock collapse, and using numerical modeling. As a rule, experimental methods are applicable for mines with long-term statistics of self-destruction operations under known conditions of rock mechanics (Brown 2007).Empirical methods are based on correlations between the characteristics of the mountain range and the geometry of the section. Currently, the industry standard for an empirical method for assessing the ability of rocks to self-destruct is a method using diagrams of stability/destructibility zones of a rock mass, developed by D. Lobscher (Laubscher, 1994).Numerical modeling provides a more fundamental assessment of the occurrence and development of self-destruction than empirical methods (Brown, 2007).
