How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article is devoted to a comprehensive legal analysis of the participation of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in foreign armed conflicts through the prism of international and national law. The relevance of the topic is due to the growing number of such cases, including participation in terrorist and mercenary groups, which poses a threat to both national and international security. The study examines key international legal acts, as well as the criminal legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in particular the norms providing for responsibility for participation in armed conflicts abroad. Based on the results of the study, the directions of improving national legislation, strengthening international cooperation, as well as the introduction of preventive legal and institutional mechanisms aimed at preventing the involvement of citizens of Kazakhstan in illegal armed groups abroad are proposed.
