How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of hematological and biochemical blood parameters of edilbay and kazakh fat-tailed coarse-wool sheep, identifies the variability of these indicators, and also establishes relationships with economically useful breeding traits and studies the possibilities of their most effective use in breeding. When conducting complex studies to determine the content of erythrocytes, leukocytes and hemoglobin in the blood of sheep; total protein and protein fractions, enzyme activity and microelements, the dynamics of their variability depending on age, sex and breed have been identified, which can be used in breeding as initial data characterizing the hematological and biochemical status; by studying the morphological and biochemical blood parameters in sheep, they have established that that different-aged bright and rams of the edilbay breed contain a greater number of red blood cells in 1 mm3 of blood compared to their peers of the kazakh fat-tailed coarse-haired breed (11.6 ± 0.251; 1.5 ± 0.07). The obtained results of biochemical parameters show the superiority of Edilbaev sheep over the Kazakh short-tailed rough-haired breed. The conducted studies indicate that Edilbaevsky sheep have a higher immune status, which determines the best indicators of their meat productivity than Kazakh fat-tailed rough-haired sheep.
