How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Gradient metallic materials with a surface nanostructured layer have great potential for industrial applications due to their outstanding properties. In this paper, the influence of a new combined deformation technology on the change of properties and formation of gradient microstructure in copper bars is described. This technology is a deformation of copper bars by radial-shift broaching at radial-shift rolling mill PCP-10/30 after the exit, from which the billet is subjected to drawing operation at mill B-I/550 M. The laboratory experiment was carried out at room temperature on bars of 30 mm in diameter. The laboratory experiment showed that the use of radial-shift broaching helps to reduce the number of deformation cycles and, as a result, to reduce the cyclicity of the technological process, as well as to increase the depth of working microstructure through due to the penetration of compression deformation along the cross-section of the bar.
