How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article analyzes the growth and development indicators of young beef cattle. The research aimed to study the live weight of experimental steers and heifers in different periods of growth in a comparative aspect. To study the dynamics of weight growth in 6–8 months, 8–12 months, and 12–15 months, 20 bulls and heifers of the Kazakh white-headed breed were selected. The experimental animals were kept in equal conditions and on an increased feeding level at the rate of receiving an average daily gain of 800-900 grams in live weight. The research results indicate that steers and heifers had unequal live weight during all periods of growing and fattening. Consequently, the experimental bulls bred by intensive technology from 6 to 15 months of age had a live weight of 187.3–365.6 kg, heifers - 175.8–305.6 kg, which meets the requirements of the breed standard.
