How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of obtaining high-quality surface wall ceramics based on local Loess-like clay of the Chagan field. Finely ground bentonite clay from the Pogodaevsky deposit in western Kazakhstan was used as an additive in order to ensure the formation of new minerals that strengthen the structure of ceramic fragments. As a result of the study, it was established that the clay of the pogodaevsky deposit belongs to a light melt in terms of refractory properties. The results of the studies obtained show that an increase in the powder content of bentonite clay from 3.0 to 30% gradually increases the sensitivity factor for drying the ceramic mass by reducing the composition of loess-like clay. Analysis of changes in the physical and mechanical properties of heat-treated samples showed that with an increase in the content of bentonite clay, the compressive strength increases from 8.41 MPA to 15.67 MPA. The adopted technological solutions showed that the analysis of heat-treated samples contributed to the fine grinding of calcite minerals, that is, led to their melting during annealing in the fracture structure during low-temperature annealing. The formation of new minerals, such as albite, anorthite, which strengthen the structure of ceramic fragments, was facilitated by the introduction of finely ground bentonite clay as an additive. Thus, the optimal ratio of crystal and glass phases in the ceramic tile was established, which improved the strength indicators, performance, frost resistance of the test subjects.
