How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Aim. To evaluate methodological approaches to measuring blood pressure (BP) in pregnant women based on an analysis of modern Russian and foreign clinical recommendations, as well as available literature data revealing the differences in them. Key points. BP measurement has become routine practice in pregnancy management. However, given the persistence of a significant proportion of hypertensive disorders in the structure of maternal morbidity and mortality сauses, issues of the accuracy of BP recordings are still relevant. Aspects of use of office and out-of-office methods for BP monitoring are considered. Proposals have been formulated to improve Russian clinical guidelines. Conclusion. The main method for diagnosing BP in pregnant women remains office measurement; an addition to this method is home blood pressure monitoring. When teaching pregnant women to perform self-measurements, it is important to gain an understanding of the importance of preparation, procedure conditions, and adherence to a schedule so that results can be interpreted reasonably and reliably. 24-hour BP monitoring should not be overestimated due to the low representation of acceptable devices, the lack of target blood pressure values obtained by this method, the duration of the procedure and associated logistics.
