How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Abstract The influence of fluctuations in the multiplicity of secondary particles in cascade processes on the measurement of energy has been studied for both space experiments and experiments on the study of extensive air showers. In this paper, the results of modeled data based on the CORSIKA code for extensive air showers and GEANT4 for space experiments are presented. It is shown that due to fluctuations in the multiplicity of the first few interactions, the energy of the primary particle determined by the standard method differs significantly from the real values. It is proposed to use the correlation curves technique, which significantly reduces the influence of multiplicity fluctuations on the determination of the energy of the primary particle.
