How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This research focuses on the application of modern insulation materials in enhancing energy efficiency, particularly within the energy sector. Special attention is given to aerogels, a cutting-edge insulation material with exceptional thermal resistance, compared to traditional materials such as mineral wool and asbestos-based insulation. The study examines several critical aspects, including thermal conductivity, cost-effectiveness, safety, and durability of these materials. Aerogels, with their ultra-low thermal conductivity, offer significant advantages in reducing heat loss, improving energy efficiency, and lowering greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, their use contributes to the reduction of environmental pollution, especially in high-energy-demand industries such as power plants and industrial complexes. While the initial cost of aerogels may be higher than conventional materials, the long-term economic benefits through energy savings and reduced maintenance far outweigh the investment. The findings also discuss the growing importance of insulation in the context of global environmental challenges, highlighting how advanced materials like aerogels can play a pivotal role in achieving sustainable energy goals. The research concludes that aerogels represent a highly effective and practical solution for both industrial and commercial applications, providing a superior alternative for thermal insulation in the drive towards energy conservation and environmental responsibility.
