How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

This article presents the results of selecting oligonucleotide primers and optimizing conditions for conducting a reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) to detect Newcastle disease virus genes. The choice of target genes is based on the fact that the virus genome determines potential approaches for using it as a vector for antigen delivery in the development of safe and effective vaccines. The virus offers several advantages: it is a type species of the avian orthoavulavirus-1 (AOaV-1) group within the Paramyxoviridae family, possesses an envelope, and has a non-segmented negative-strand RNA genome, which allows for the insertion of foreign genes up to approximately 5 kbp. Three pairs of oligonucleotide primers were selected and synthesized to generate specific PCR products for the targeted genes. The performance of the developed primers was assessed using a typical temperature-time amplification program in the PCR setup. The resulting amplicons were analyzed by electrophoresis on a 1.7% agarose gel with ethidium bromide staining. The designed primers cover the full nucleotide sequences of each gene: M (1095 bp), F (1566 bp), and HN (1751 bp), with the corresponding molecular weights о. 1095, п.о. 1566, п.о. 1751.
