How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

In this paper, a study of the legal essence of the corporate governance structure, the problems of its implementation, the actual compliance with the standards established by leading practice, and the possibilities of increasing its effectiveness in the modern realities of domestic companies are considered. The definition of «corporate governance» has been introduced into domestic legislation relatively recently. This seemingly simple phrase implies a rather complex process of forming and ensuring the effective implementation of a range of mechanisms and tools for managing a company aimed at increasing its value and forming an impeccable business reputation. Modern realities created in the context of global competition have defined global rules according to which the main investments are directed to those companies that demonstrate sustainable development, which is the result of the effective implementation of the best standards of corporate governance. Ensuring the successful implementation of the leading corporate practice is impossible without the formation of proper legal support for its main processes. In this regard, the interest in this topic seems to be very justified. It should be noted that the issue of implementing modern corporate governance principles and their actual compliance is no longer as acute for domestic companies as before. The activities of individual companies demonstrate a fairly successful practice of implementing corporate governance mechanisms, which has an impact on collaboration with large investors and building the company's image in the external environment. At the same time, the process of introducing corporate governance into the activities of Kazakhstan companies is at the very beginning of its formation and requires detailed study. The main conclusions of this topic of the article can be used in research activities, for teaching courses in corporate, civil, and business law.
