How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

An ‘Integrated Water Cycle Management (IWCM) in Kazakhstan’ book [1] is specifically designed to support Kazakh students and teachers to develop the broad knowledge base required to underpin a critical understanding of international best practice in water resource management. With a clear focus on understanding and addressing the human challenges currently facing Kazakhstan and the Central Asian region, it includes up-to-date content on stakeholder engagement, risk communication and policy development. The book includes sections on selected concepts in IWCM, methodologies and supporting tools for IWCM, management skills for building capability, capacity and impact, best practice examples for water treatment management, sustainable use of water resources in Kazakhstan, Integrative Water Cycle Management in Kazakhstan and on transboundary catchment issues and future integrated management.
