How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Light alloys based on the Al-Fe-Si system are very attractive and are currently studied in detail by material scientists. Against the background of the transition to the use of recycled tip with an increased content of iron and silicon becomes especially relevant. In this article, the prediction of an aluminum intermetallic alloy, completely consisting of intermetallics, is performed. Using ThermoCalc software, numerical simulation was carried out to study the phase composition of the three-component system. Using analytical calculations, it was possible to establish the ratio of iron to silicon, which determines the type of secondary precipitation: structurally free silicon, or the intermetallic phase Al13Fe4. This ratio is valid for ternary alloys with a change affects more than 64%.
