How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The article discusses the influence of sand and mechanical impurities on the operation of borehole pumps (USA) during oil production. Sand coming out of the reservoir leads to the destruction of pump parts, piston jamming, damage to threaded connections and rapid wear of pipes, which leads to a shortened repair period. Various methods are proposed to combat these problems, such as the installation of sand anchors, the use of filters and tubular rods. It also provides for the use of additional equipment, including gas sandblasting anchors (PG), a tubular zoom camera (КТО) and an auto connection, which will effectively reduce the impact of sand and mechanical particles on pumping equipment. The combined use of these devices helps to increase the service life of pumps, reduce the likelihood of jamming and wear of pairs of pistons and valves, and simplify the maintenance process. The results of the analysis of the work of 107 wells in the fields of the Western region of the Republic of Kazakhstan confirm the effectiveness of the proposed solutions in improving the operational characteristics of rod pumping units.
