How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

The study examines the challenges and opportunities in the oil and gas sector of Kazakhstan, focusing on the role of joint ventures in its strategic development. Despite significant hydrocarbon reserves, the country faces a number of challenges, including technological limitations, global market volatility and high investment risks. The main objective of the work is to analyze effective strategies through joint ventures to promote sustainable economic growth and technological development. The study used SWOT analysis methods and analysis of existing scientific sources to assess internal and external factors affecting the sector. The results show that joint ventures are capable of significantly modernizing the industry, using international experience and advanced technologies. Key challenges are also identified, including regulatory uncertainty and environmental constraints. Recommendations are aimed at improving the conditions for joint ventures, including the integration of digital technologies and strengthening international cooperation. The study emphasizes the need for adaptive strategies to ensure long-term sustainability and further development of the oil and gas sector in Kazakhstan.
