How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Despite the active development of modern methods of producing parts, the production of parts by casting remains one of the most common and economically profitable. At the same time, modern production places high demands on the quality of cast parts. It is possible to ensure high quality of castings by forming a homogeneous dense structure of the ingot (casting). In turn, these indicators can be achieved by regulating the rate of solidification of the casting and the distribution of alloying elements inside it throughout the volume. One of the promising ways to control the casting structure is casting according to gasified models using inoculators (suspension casting). By using ferroalloy particles in styrofoam models simultaneously with inoculators (refrigerators), the number of crystallization centers and the distribution of alloying elements can be adjusted. One of the important indicators in the production of castings by suspension casting is the absence of defects, chemical heterogeneity, porosity and mechanical properties. These indicators can be obtained using inoculators used in suspension casting. In suspension casting, from the point of view of creating waste-free technologies, the use of various metal wastes during casting is promising: chips, slag components, trimmings, die-cuts, etc. In this project, it is planned through the introduction of inoculators, the use of foundry waste, which will provide the required service and technological properties.
