How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Digital literacy has emerged as a critical competency in the 21st century, particularly for students with disabilities in India. This chapter explores the unique challenges faced by this group and emphasizes the importance of adopting tailored strategies to integrate technology effectively into their education. Digital literacy empowers students with essential skills, enhancing their learning experiences, fostering independence, and improving access to information and services. Tools such as screen readers, voice recognition software, and accessible internet platforms enable greater engagement in academic and social activities, bridging gaps in learning and providing opportunities for remote education and specialized resources. Despite these advancements, the chapter highlights the significant barriers that persist, as many digital platforms in India remain inaccessible and fail to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. Addressing these gaps is essential for creating an equitable and inclusive digital learning environment.
