How this score is calculated

It is built from checkable properties of the record itself: whether the article has a DOI, how many independent sources confirmed its data, whether the required fields are filled in, and how recent the latest confirmation is. Disagreement between sources and a missing identifier lower it. A value of 80 or above means the record was published without further checking; 60 to 79 means it is published at reduced confidence, with a manual check advisable. A record verified by an editor by hand is never pushed below 90 by a recalculation. This scores our data about the article, not the article itself.

Abstract

Uranium is a strategic raw material and the presence of uranium deposits isa prerequisite for economic growth of its owners. Uranium mines operate in more than 20countries in different parts of the world, although in 2018 about 55% of world productioncomes from only ten mines in four countries, and these four countries provide 77% of theworld's uranium mined. The countries have varying degrees of government risk, affectingtheir attractiveness for investment in the extraction, processing and export of this rawmaterial, taxes and the availability of skilled workers. These factors have already influencedthe exploration of minerals, which led to the identification of an ore body before theextraction and processing process began.
