This chapter summarizes the core arguments and overarching vision of the textbook, emphasizing the need for a reimagined legal theory in post-Soviet states—one that views law not merely as a tool of state power but as a societal institution grounded in values, justice, and pluralism. It revisits each chapter’s contribution to this framework, from the theoretical foundations to the practical mechanisms of legal interpretation, behavior, and responsibility. The chapter reinforces the central thesis: that legal reform in the region requires both a critical break from statist-positivist legacies and a forward-looking embrace of legal culture, civil society, and rule-of-law principles. The author calls on academics, educators, and legal practitioners to engage with these ideas, not as final answers but as starting points for further dialogue and transformation. The book closes with the hope that it will serve as both a teaching resource and a catalyst for meaningful legal development across post-Soviet societies.
