Аннотация
The purpose of this article is to identify possible directions for increasing the efficiency ofeconomic integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK) within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).In the course of analyzing the problem, it was found that the effectiveness of economic integration ofKazakhstan, as a participant in the regional integration formation of the EAEU, is assessed by experts indifferent ways, and certain aspects of integration are criticized. Scientific discourse today is aimed at findingways to increase the export potential of the republic in the EAEU markets and overcoming the differences andcontradictions between partner countries.The definition of directions for increasing the efficiency of economic integration of Kazakhstan is alsoupdated taking into account the fact that in 2020-2021 the country is forecasting a protracted crisis due to thecoronavirus pandemic.In order to increase the efficiency of the economic integration of Kazakhstan within the EAEU, based onthe calculation of indicators of the openness of the country’s economy, statistics on the dynamics and volumesof mutual trade of the Union member states and other data, in the context of the negative consequences for thenational economy due to the pandemic, the author has developed a number of proposals taking into accountthe economic interests of Kazakhstan.
