Due to the fact that it is important to study the nature and objectives of the historical and cognitive process and the place of scientific and historical knowledge among other forms of spiritual culture. In this regard, the 50-60-ies of the twentieth century, the development of historical science of Kazakhstan is defined as an indicator of systemic changes. During this period, qualitative changes in the source base of the late medieval history of Kazakhstan and Central Asia were formed, and its own historical and Oriental school was determined. Source studies of this period have received universal recognition. Scientists of this period developed the best traditions for the publication of Oriental manuscripts. Thoroughly expanded source base, and formed views on the history of the Kazakh state of the late middle ages and for many years to come determined the direction and priorities not only historical but also archaeological research. Therefore, the chosen side of the study is due, first of all, to significant changes in scientific source studies, which are most clearly manifested since the mid-twentieth century in the historical science of Kazakhstan.
