Alpine zones are among the most fragile and ecologically significant regions on Earth, harboring unique biodiversity adapted to extreme climatic conditions. This study explored the biodiversity of national parks and nurseries established within alpine zones, emphasizing their role in the conservation of endemic, rare, and threatened species. National parks serve as in situ conservation hubs, preserving intact ecosystems and natural habitats, whereas nurseries act as ex situ conservation centers supporting the propagation, rehabilitation, and restoration of native alpine flora. Together, these initiatives contribute to safeguarding genetic diversity, sustaining ecosystem services, and promoting ecological resilience against climate change and anthropogenic pressures. These findings highlight the importance of integrated conservation strategies and effective management practices to maintain the biodiversity and ecological integrity of alpine regions.
