The article presents the results of the synthesis of a package of models of interconnected reactor, benzene column and heat exchanger of the production unit based on available stochastic and fuzzy information. The originality of the work is that the proposed and used systems approach to the development and effective modeling of complex objects under uncertainty allows optimizing and managing their operating modes in a fuzzy environment. The main sections of the article: analyze the main sources on the research topic; formulate the purpose and objectives of the publication; describe the research object, materials and methods; materials and methods of the research; present the obtained research results and their discussion, and formulate conclusions. The main results of the study are: a package of adequate models of the main units of the BPU has been developed, allowing for effective modeling, optimization and management of the benzene production process; a package of models of the main units of the BPU obtained by combining the developed models into a single system of models. The modeling results obtained on the basis of the developed models taking into account the fuzzy, known deterministic models and real data obtained experimentally at the BPU of the Atyrau Oil Refinery are compared. Based on the comparison results, the advantages and efficiency of the developed models were established, taking into account the fuzzy part of the initial information, allowing for adequate modeling, optimization and effective management of the operating modes of the BPU in a fuzzy environment. The effective operating mode of the BPU allows for an increase in the volume of high-quality benzene by 2 tons per day, which ensures a significant economic effect of production.
