Environmental safety is currently one of the most important factors in state development. The purpose of this study is a comparative analysis of environmental policy in the context of SDG implementation in the countries of the Central Asian region (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan). The scientific novelty of the research lies in the use of a set of modern methods, including comparative analysis, sociological surveys, and agent-based modeling.
