The purpose of the study was to develop and optimise control systems to improve the efficiency, stability, and environmental friendliness of power plants. The research methodology included the development of a mathematical model of an electric power plant and the implementation of a coordinated control system that integrates various approaches to boiler and turbine control. As a result of the study, a control system is developed and implemented that allows substantially increasing the stability and efficiency of the power plant. The main attention is paid to the synthesis and integration of various boiler and turbine control strategies, which allowed achieving an optimal balance between fast response to load changes and stable operation of the installation. The use of fuel regulators has provided rapid generation of fuel values for control, contributing to a more flexible and adaptive system. The introduction of multi-purpose optimisation methods allowed minimising load tracking errors, extending the service life of equipment and reducing fuel consumption and pollutant release. The study includes the development of algorithms for automating processes, which substantially increased the accuracy and speed of the system’s response to changes in operating conditions. Predictive control algorithms are developed for stable and reliable operation of electrical equipment, which actively monitor the state of electrical systems and automatically adjust their operation to prevent overloads and extend the service life of components. The coordinated management system combines the advantages of various approaches, providing the power plant with the ability to function effectively in the changing market environment and strict environmental requirements.
