This study aims to analyze the theoretical and methodological foundations of the Conflict Resolution Styles Inventory (CRSI) and to conduct a pilot examination of the psychometric properties of its Russian-language version using a student sample. The study reviews classical and contemporary theoretical models of conflict resolution styles and provides an overview of international practices in the adaptation of the CRSI. The empirical study was conducted online and involved 25 students. Descriptive statistics and internal consistency coefficients (Cronbach’s α) were calculated for the four scales of the instrument. The results demonstrated satisfactory levels of reliability for most scales, as well as high internal consistency for the Positive Problem Solving scale. The findings support the applicability of the CRSI for assessing interpersonal conflict resolution strategies among student populations and substantiate the feasibility of its further use with larger and more representative samples.
