The article presents the results of a study focused on optimizing the processes of land and production resource utilization in agriculture. The concept of developing a decision support information system based on mathematical programming methods is substantiated, ensuring the rational selection of agricultural crops while maximizing economic efficiency and adhering to the principles of sustainable land use. A comparative analysis of four optimization methods — the greedy algorithm, genetic algorithm, branch-and-bound method, and exhaustive search algorithm — was conducted in terms of computational com-plexity, solution accuracy, and robustness to parameter variations. It was established that the combined application of linear and integer programming methods provides the best balance between accuracy and computational efficiency.
