Relevance. Despite notable progress in the development of new antibacterial agents, antimicrobial resistance, including multidrug resistance (MDR), remains one of the most serious challenges of modern medicine. MDR refers to the simultaneous resistance of pathogens to several drugs, which significantly complicates treatment strategies. The rapid increase in infections caused by resistant microorganisms is occurring against the background of considerable difficulties in creating fundamentally new and effective medicines. Therefore, the search for and development of novel anti-infective and antimicrobial compounds is highly relevant. The aim of this study was to develop a production technology for a highly effective antimicrobial agent of the piperidine series, 1-benzyl-4-(p-fluorobenzoyloxyimino) piperidine hydrochloride (AIP-15), and to evaluate its cytotoxicity under laboratory conditions. In vitro cytotoxicity was assessed using monolayer MDCK cell cultures. The quantitative toxic effect of the studied compound was determined by the MTT assay after 72 hours of exposure. Based on the obtained experimental data, CC₅₀ values were calculated to assess the safety profile of the compound. As a result of the in vitro cytotoxicity study using the MDCK cell culture model, it was shown that its value for the AIP-15 compound is 0.7 mg/ml. This work presents a four-stage technological scheme for obtaining AIP-15 as an active pharmaceutical substance. The developed technology provides a consistent and structured approach to its synthesis. Additionally, the cytotoxic properties of AIP-15 were evaluated in vitro, confirming its biological safety within the studied concentrations.
