The use of digital technologies in special education is a rapidly developing area of the modern education system. This study’s relevance stems from the pressing imperative to advance inclusive environments, broaden educational horizons for learners facing unique needs, and facilitate their smoother societal integration. Digital technologies enable precise customization of the learning pathway, render educational resources far more approachable, and stimulate pupils’ deeper intellectual engagement. The importance of this study lies in illustrating how embedding specialized electronic tools into educators’ daily routines elevates instructional quality while cultivating students’ core communicative, intellectual, and interpersonal capabilities. Digital educational platforms and interactive applications offer flexible frameworks for presenting complex lesson content in clear, visual formats. The study identified key categories of software deployed across special education contexts, ranging from interactive platforms and multimedia software to mobile applications and adaptive systems. The scientific contribution of the study lies in the development and empirical validation of an integrated model for digital technology implementation in special education, statistically confirmed by Pearson’s chi-square test and Cramér’s V effect size, which extends the evidence base on digital tool integration within the Kazakhstani special education context. The results demonstrate that regular technology usage improves student motivation, solidifies information retention, and reinforces individualized pedagogical approaches. The results confirm that modern digital solutions significantly amplify the impact of inclusive schooling, removing learning hurdles for children with specialized educational demands.
