The spiritual and moral values of the Turkic world-including the Kazakh people-originated in the Old Turkic era and became deeply rooted during the Golden Horde period. The written heritage of that era found expression in later Kazakh literature and the written language. This article aims to examine the linguistic expression of spiritual and moral values in a written monument from that period: Nahj al-Faradis by Mahmud bin Ali. The article first establishes the significance of studying this written monument as part of the Golden Horde’s legacy. Drawing on the continuity of the "nation-language-culture" triad, the spiritual and moral values found in the text are analyzed within the context of the modern Kazakh worldview. The study employed historical-comparative, diachronic-synchronic, typological-comparative, and narrative methods. Concrete data demonstrated that the spiritual and moral values of the medieval Turkic community persist in the modern Kazakh worldview. The research involved a detailed analysis of the text, utilizing comparative-historical, narrative, and generalizing methods. It was conclusively shown that the linguistic expression of spiritual and moral values constitutes a synthesis of religious-personal principles and accumulated knowledge, derived from the people's way of life and preserved in the language of this written heritage.
