The article addresses current issues in the production of wall ceramics based on loam using finely dispersed composite additives. The aim of the study is to substantiate the scientific and technological prerequisites for developing an energy- and resource-efficient technology based on local loamy raw materials and industrial waste. The main causes of high energy consumption in ceramic production, variations in the chemical composition of raw materials, and the low strength of finished products are analysed. The possibilities of enhancing interactions between raw material components, intensifying mineral- and structure-forming processes, and reducing the firing temperature through the incorporation of finely dispersed composite additives are described. The proposed approach is aimed at the efficient utilisation of industrial waste, reducing the consumption of natural mineral resources, and producing competitive wall ceramics with high quality characteristics. The research results demonstrate that the use of additives makes it possible to optimise the composition and technological parameters and improve the density, strength, and thermal insulation properties of the fired material. The environmental and economic benefits of using the developed compositions in the construction industry are further substantiated by experimental test results.
